Kelly Clarkson Taipei Concert: The Story
I cannot tell you how excited I was (and still am) when I had the opportunity to attend Kelly Clarkson Taipei Concert. As I recall, it was my friend Jeffrey Nurhakim who told me about the concert. And yes, by looking up online (in Chinese for sure, but I have those nice lab mates ^^), I could have a sneak on the venue, found out the ticket price and picked up seat. I had been looking up for the website since March, but not until May 4 I finally bought the ticket (so last date).
It happened that I kept enough money to buy the 3,000 NTD seat (and my boyfriend also okayed that ^^), so both of us agreed to buy that seats (VIP seats were 3,600 NTD). As I told you in one of my post here, I could easily buy the tickets via Family Mart. I asked my friend Ivan Arista to teach me how to use it, and when finally I decided to buy I forgot how to use it [laugh]. Luckily I met a local friend there and he helped me (thanks Mike ^^). So you just touch here and there and pick the seat and print the receipt and pay it at the cashier. Handy and easy!

So I got it!

It was held in NTU (National Taiwan University) Sports Centre, a mere 15-minute walk from my campus (National Taiwan University of Science and Technology). I pass the stadium each Sunday, as that my usual route to the church.
And on the D-day, May 6, I and my boyfriend headed there at (I forget) probably 6.30 (I didn’t want to miss her by coming late!). The concert supposed to start at 7.30 PM, but yeah, as always being opened by some local artists (till now I don’t know who they are, but there was a female singer who sang really well). And there was a nice handsome guy one row in front of us (I kept saying ‘he’s handsome’ to my bf, and he agreed too hahaha). No documentation ‘allowed’, so please be okay with my poor pictures here (pocket cam can’t stand the dark and those movable lightings).

Kelly started to sing at approximately 8.30 PM, and well, yeah she looked a bit fat (who cares anyway). In total she sang about 16 songs (and no break, amazing), including her hit songs: Breakaway, My Life Would Suck without You, and Because of You. The audiences were just crazy about her. Though all of us arranged in seats, when Kelly started to sing, many people just left their seats and headed out to stage front, dancing and singing as Kelly sang. Most of the time some staffs would come and ask the audiences to go back to their seats and/or turn off any cameras (I got warned three times hahaha).
Kelly Clarkson was amazing that night! She sang some of her songs acoustically, like Behind These Hazel Eyes and Addicted. Just as good as in her recordings. I couldn’t have her full song recording using my camera, so I’ll give you some pictures [smile].
